Greenwich Winter Time Festival, Royal Naval College - From 1st to 31st December 2017

There's a new Christmas experience in town: Greenwich Winter Time Festival, a snowy festive takeover of the world heritage-listed Old Royal Naval College, located right beside the Cutty Sark. The space in front of the riverside building will have a covered ice rink, and a Christmas market filled with contemporary craft and design stalls. Don't worry, it's not all ultra-modern: there will still be food stalls flogging mince pies and mulled wine.

You can wander around Greenwich Winter Time for a three hour session, though it'll cost extra for ice skating or an audience with Santa. Greenwich is pretty Christmassy as is, so Winter Time is a chance to go turbo on the festivities this December.   This Festival is open throughout December, including Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

The Bands of The Household Division - Scarlet & Gold

The Bands of The Household Division present their winter concert: ‘Scarlet and Gold’ at the Cadogan Hall on 6th & 7th December 2017.

Taking the title from Lloyd Thomas’s wonderful march, it evokes the splendour and sparkle of the Guards’ uniforms and instruments which combined with the beautiful setting of Cadogan Hall, promises an evening of musical pomp and grandeur.

Featuring the outstanding talents of the very best military musicians, the concert will bring the Bands of The Household Division from the parade square to the stage. An inspiring repertoire of traditional and modern military music will celebrate the very best of our Nation’s proud heritage and tradition.
